Two-Year Position in Neurobiology

The Reed College Biology Department seeks applicants for a two-year position in Neurobiology to begin August 2024. Each year, the selected individual will teach an upper-level neurobiology course with lab, a team-taught introductory neurobiology course with lab, and a seminar in their area of expertise. The individual will also supervise year-long biology and neuroscience senior thesis projects. We seek candidates pursuing research questions in Systems, Computational, Cellular, Molecular, and/or Developmental Neurobiology with a focus on research organisms supported by departmental facilities, including fish, amphibians and a wide range of invertebrates. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Neurobiology or a related field by August 2024. We especially welcome applications from candidates with experience teaching undergraduates.
