Senior Scholars is a yearlong engagement with our community that is designed to answer the unique questions posed by underrepresented students and students of color. High-achieving high school seniors will learn about life at Reed, create lasting connections with current students and faculty, and receive financial support to visit Reed’s campus in the spring. All students are welcome to apply.
Experience the buzz of Reed—online, in person, or on demand. Join us year-round for campus events, virtual info sessions, college search workshops, and conversations with faculty, students, and campus leaders.
College Prep Day
Mon Aug 10 at 9 AM Join us for a full-day immersive experience designed to demystify the college search and application process. Led by Reed College admission counselors, this program is crafted for curious, motivated students who want to get a head start on navigating college admissions and thriving in higher education.
Students will participate in workshops on crafting compelling personal statements, understanding financial aid, and exploring the criteria that selective colleges use to evaluate applicants. They’ll participate in a mock admission committee, tour Reed’s unique campus—including options like our nuclear reactor or canyon—and learn directly from current Reedies.
Visit. Apply. Enroll. $1,000.
Tuition Credit for On-Campus Visit. Only Reed feels like Reed—and we think experiencing campus in person, in real life is the best way to find out why.
If you visit campus between June 15 and September 30, apply by November 1, and enroll at Reed, you will receive a $1,000 credit towards your first-year Reed tuition.
Multicultural Visit Programs
Diversity of thought and experience is valued as central to the Reed experience. Who we are—in our many identities, experiences, and ways of being—informs not only what, how, and why we learn, but what we bring to the table, where a plurality of ideas and voices deepens the conversation.
