Employee assistance program (EAP)
Eligibility
Regular full time employees and part time employees who work at least half time (.5 FTE). Spouse, domestic partner and dependents of eligible employees are also covered under this plan.
Description
This program, offered through Canopy EAP, is a confidential service available to assist employees and eligible family members with any personal concern, large or small. Here is a summary of services. Examples of how the EAP can help include:
- Relationship problems
- Depression or anxiety
- Stress management
- Pet parenting resources
- Alcohol and drug abuse
- Community resources
- Identity theft
- Tobacco sessation
- Financial coaching
- Legal advice
- Home ownership program
- Life coaching
The program also offers up to five free in person sessions per issue, per year with a counselor. Counselors are available by phone on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. You may speak to a counselor over the phone, online or in person.
