Tuition and Expenses 2022

Tuition for Tango for Musicians at Reed College includes access to all masterclasses and free tickets to all concerts and public events. Accommodation on campus and meals at our local and sustainability-focused restaurant may be included for an additional fee. Tuition does not include the cost of transportation to and from the Reed College campus. Private coaching with the artistic faculty will be available at an additional cost and at faculty discretion.

If you need to cancel your registration, please contact tango@reed.eduWe will refund 100% of your tuition until March 31, and then 50% of your tuition until May 31 (excluding service fees). Tuition is not refundable after May 31.

Early bird registration, returning discount, commuter discount, and financial aid

  • An early bird discount will be offered for those participants who register before April 17, 2022.

  • Financial aid will be provided for a limited number of participants who must apply by March 25, 2022. More information on the financial aid application process can be found here.



Accomodation and meals may be purchased for an additional fee.


The accommodation service offered by Reed College for the TFM at RC event includes
seven nights in a residence hall, from June 19, 2022 until June 26, 2022. Check-in will be
on June 19, 2022 between 3-6 p.m., and check-out will be on June 26, 2022 by 11 a.m.
Early arrival is available by special arrangement only. Participants may not stay on campus
past June 26, 2022.

All participants will receive a private dorm room; restroom and shower facilities are shared.
All residence halls have social rooms and full or partial kitchens. Wi-fi is available in all
residence halls. Each residence hall is secured by swipe card access, and each room has
key entry. Each room has a bed, desk with chair, dresser, and closet or wardrobe.

All guests will receive a linen packet which includes a pillow and pillow case, two sheets,
blanket, top sheet, towel, two washcloths, soap, cup, and paper towels.

Air conditioning is not available in most residence halls. Rentable small fans are subject to
availability. Pets are not allowed.

The residence halls have access for those with disabilities. If you have special housing
needs of any type, please contact us for assistance.


Food service includes three daily meals at Reed College’s local and sustainability-focused restaurant, starting with dinner on June 19, 2022 and finishing with breakfast on June 26, 2022. Participants may also arrange meals on their own, including purchase directly from the campus restaurant. Information on the restaurant can be found here.
