Tango for Musicians at Reed College
Tango for Musicians at Reed College is North America's leading tango workshop for musicians, providing the tools needed to play, arrange, compose, improvise, and teach this rich and diverse musical form. Emphasizing technique and creativity, history and the present, Tango for Musicians at Reed College is dedicated to opening the mysteries of tango music for players of any instrument in a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment. Whether you are completely new to tango or have been playing for many years, our amazing artistic faculty from Buenos Aires will give you what you need to learn, explore, and experiment with tango in deep and meaningful ways.
Enrollment is limited to 100 participants, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who is it for?
Tango for Musicians at Reed College is open to all musicians who are interested in playing, arranging, composing, and teaching tango music. Previous experience with tango is not necessary or expected, though technical proficiency on your instrument and the ability to read music are required. All instruction and educational materials will be presented in English.
