Student payroll is administered by Dawn Derry in the business office and includes:
- Questions about a paycheck
- Setting up direct deposit
- Setting up tax withholding
- Submitting required tax forms
- Questions about Oregon Paid Sick Leave
- Questions about time card submission

In July 2018 the college created a new position under Financial Aid to coordinate student work opportunities, which includes:
- Guidance finding on-campus work
- Guidance finding a position for federal work study
- Questions or concerns about student work at Reed

Effective July 1, 2022, the Oregon minimum wage is $14.75. Students are paid on a biweekly basis.

Employment Eligibility Verification-I9
Form I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. All U.S. employers must ensure proper completion of Form I-9 for each individual they hire for employment in the United States.
Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate-W4
Complete Form W-4 so that your employer can withhold the correct federal income tax from your pay. The address that you put on this form is where your tax form W-2 will be sent.

This form allows us to put the funds from your paycheck directly into your bank account. Without it, you will receive a paper check that must be picked up in the Business Office, and you will need to physically take the check to the bank to be deposited/cashed.
