Health Insurance Waiver Form
Any student who has not completed an online waiver request for each school year will be enrolled in and charged for the college's health insurance policy. The waiver must be received in the business office by the first day of classes.
Student Health Insurance Plan
Our student health insurance plan for the 2012-13 academic year is provided by Aetna Student Health, an Aetna company in partnership with USI Northwest. The policy is a comprehensive medical plan. A schedule of benefits is included in the mailer sent to all matriculating and continuing students in May. You can also download a PDF describing Aetna's coverage. If you have specific questions regarding the coverage, please call Aetna Student Health at 866/574-8289 or USI Northwest at 800/251-4246. You may also find a directory of participating Aetna physicians, specialists, hospitals, and pharmacies at the Aetna Student Health website for Reed students.
International Students
International Students are covered under a different policy than the one described above. Our international health insurance provider is also Aetna Student Health. Download a PDF describing their coverage (view a brochure) or visit the Aetna Student Health website.
