Tuition and Expenses 2026
Tuition for TFM at Reed College includes access to all masterclasses and free tickets to all
concerts, jam sessions, and milongas with live music. This fee does not include
accommodation, meals, tango dance classes, or private lessons, which must be purchased
separately.
Special discounts will be offered:
Early Bird Registration with Discount, from January 12, 2026 to March 2, 2026; 50
available spots on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once the available discount spots are taken, regular registration fees will be applied, from
March 3, 2026 to June 15, 2026.

REFUND POLICY
A 100% refund of the tuition fee will be provided for those who request it by contacting
tango@reed.edu before March 2, 2026 (excluding service fees). After that date and until
May 15, 2026, a 50% refund will be given. Tuition is not refundable after May 15, 2026.
Early bird registration and financial aid

An early bird discount will be offered for those participants who register by March 2, 2026.

Financial aid will be provided for a limited number of participants who must apply by January 31, 2026. More information on the financial aid application process can be found here.
ROOM AND BOARD
Accomodation and meals may be purchased for an additional fee.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation service offered by Reed College for the TFM at RC event includes seven nights in a residence hall, from June 21, 2026 until June 28, 2026. Check-in will be on June 21, 2026 between 3-6 p.m., and check-out will be on June 28, 2024 by 11 a.m. Early arrival on June 20 is available for an additional fee. Participants may not stay on campus past June 28, 2026.
All participants will receive a private dorm room; restroom and shower facilities are shared. All residence halls have social rooms and full or partial kitchens. Wi-fi is available in all residence halls. Each residence hall is secured by swipe card access, and each room has key entry. Each room has a bed, desk with chair, dresser, and closet or wardrobe.
All guests will receive a linen packet which includes a pillow and pillow case, fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, and towel.
Air conditioning is not available in most residence halls. Rentable small fans are subject to availability. Pets are not allowed.
The residence halls have access for those with disabilities. If you have special housing
needs of any type, please contact us for assistance.
MEAL PLAN
Food service includes three daily meals at Reed College’s local and sustainability-focused restaurant, starting with dinner on June 21, 2026 and finishing with breakfast on June 28, 2026. Participants may also arrange meals on their own, including purchase directly from the campus restaurant. Information on the restaurant can be found here.
