A week immersed in tango music — learning, playing, and celebrating together.

Every morning begins with collective rhythm & movement sessions, bringing all participants together to connect through the pulse of tango. From there, musicians dive into their specific paths:

  • Community Orchestra — for amateur players who want to experience the joy of playing tango in a large ensemble, guided step-by-step by our skilled faculty.

  • Advanced Program — for experienced musicians looking for deeper exploration, ensemble challenges, and new tools for creativity.

Afternoons are filled with ensemble rehearsals, arranging workshops, and creative labs, followed by evenings packed with concerts, tango dance classes, peñas, jam sessions, and milongas with live music.

Each day blends intense learning, collaboration, and moments of relaxation under the trees of Reed’s beautiful campus, creating an unforgettable rhythm of study and celebration.

Find your path in tango.
Whether you want to enjoy playing tango for the first time, take your musicianship to the next level, or share your own projects with the community, there’s a place for you at Reed College.
