Nina Dee Schectman Mollett ’72
Nina Dee Schectman Mollett ’72, April 29, 2006, in Tucson, Arizona. Nina received a BA from Reed in general literature, and received an MS in resource economics from the University of Alaska–Fairbanks (UAF). Her career included a position with the National Marine Fisheries Service in Juneau, freelance writing, reporting for the All Alaska Weekl y and the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. She also worked for the Sea Grant Program at UAF, and for the Sustainable Fisheries Division at the National Marine Fisheries Service in Juneau. She enjoyed bird watching, and was politically active, particularly in the issue of preservation of the Artic National Wildlife Reserve. She married David L. Mollett ’75 in 1975; they had one son.
