Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Liz devoted her life to education and music. After attending Reed, she became the headmaster’s secretary at Catlin Gabel and married Ed Adamy, the school’s woodshop teacher. The couple had three children and moved to McMinnville, where Liz worked as a high school principal’s secretary and was organist and choir director at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. After retiring, she continued to play and compose music. She is survived by her three children.
