The Center for Life Beyond Reed

Interdisciplinary Physics/Mathematics major Aja Procita '18 has been chosen to serve as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Latvia where she plans to share her passion for learning and for building community around food. She is looking forward to paying forward the educational opportunities she has received.  At Reed specifically, she worked with Science Outreach, has been a TA for intro physics, an individual tutor, and helped launch the Math Outreach program. After her Fulbright year, Aja plans to return to the US to pursue graduate studies in Physics.
