The Honor Council
Confidential. Neutral. Conflict Mediation. Resource Referral.
The Honor Council is a committee of students, faculty, and staff dedicated to fostering engagement with the Honor Principle in the Reed community.
There are nine student members, three faculty, and three staff members on Honor Council. Honor Council serves as an outlet for questions and concerns regarding mediation, resource referral, and neutral problem-solving. Consultations are kept confidential (the only exception to this is if someone divulges child sexual abuse). Honor Council is one of the only groups on campus available to community members currently involved in Judicial Board cases to discuss the proceedings. To contact the Honor Council, stop by our regular office hours on the lower level of the Gray Campus Center (GCC 048), email one of us personally by looking us up on IRIS, or send an email to all of us.
Honor Council members can help fill out any of these forms, or assist in understanding various codes for campus groups.
