Career Services |
Career Services strives to guide students and new alumni, with the help of a community of partners, to take ownership of their personal and career development as they pursue and develop creative, fulfilling, socially responsible lives at Reed and after graduation. Career assessments, information about internships, job shadowing, research and fellowship opportunities, advice on graduate and professional school applications, access to an alumni and parent network, and job search assistance are among the services provided.
Welcome to Reed College career services!
We are proud to provide career resources and services to Reed students and alumni as they pursue and develop creative, fulfilling, socially responsible lives at Reed and after graduation.
We…
COUNSEL students to identify strengths, interests and values, to pursue academic and career options and to deepen self-understanding;
CAPTURE and develop opportunities for students to explore the intersection of their strengths, interests and values;
COACH students on strategies and skills that help them to seize and take full advantage of a wide variety of opportunities; and
ENCOURAGE students to make informed choices at every stage of their academic and professional careers.
Summer Destinations!
This is the time of year when the senior survey launches AND when we encourage all Reedies to let us know what you will be doing during summer.
Summer is coming and we really appreciate knowing your plans. Are you working? Interning? Traveling? Relaxing? Please take just a few minutes to fill out a form to share your summer plans with career services and with other Reedies if you choose. The information you give us will help us as we plan internships and externships for next year. Help us stay current with your interests—by sharing how you spend your time!
You have the option to remain anonymous or to not have your summers plans published at all. Either way we still would appreciate knowing.
We really appreciate your taking time to tell us what you'll be doing over summer and we hope you will enjoy reading what other Reedies are doing, too. Have a great time!
