University of Dublin - Trinity College

Dublin, Ireland

Trinity College, the single constituent college of the University of Dublin, was founded in 1592 and is the oldest in Ireland and one of the oldest in Europe. Located in Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland, Trinity College prides itself on its tradition of personal contact between faculty and students encouraged by its collegiate atmosphere. Courses are open to Reed students across a broad spectrum of disciplines with particular interests focused on Irish history, literature, and music. Over four centuries old, Trinity is home to around 15,500 students and offers a vast range of courses and disciplines to be explored and experienced.
Meals are available from three on-campus restaurants, as well as from several student cafes. Trinity offers its students a variety of support services, including counseling and individual tutoring. A week-long orientation period is also provided at the beginning of the academic year for incoming students. There are many campus-wide social events throughout the academic year, and the Global Room is a resource specifically for International Students which hosts events as well as providing support.

Non-Visa Requiring Students (USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore passport holders)

From 1st July 2023 all non-EU students will be required to show evidence to immigration that they have access to at least €4,200 if staying for longer than 6 months, or €700 per month if staying for less than 6 months.  (These figures have increased from the previous requirements of €3,000 or €500 per month)
