Middlebury College School in Spain

Madrid, Spain

The School in Spain offers valuable academic experiences in three Spanish cities: Madrid, Logroño, and Córdoba. Students studying at the Universidad Carlos III are able to experience campus life in a city of 100,000 while having easy access to the cultural offerings found in Madrid. Students on the Middlebury program benefit from the unique cultural experience of southern Spain, with its multicultural legacy and history that stems from centuries of Muslim, Christian, and Jewish coexistence.

The Middlebury program at the Universidad de La Rioja, located in the wine-making province of La Rioja, offers students the opportunity to live and study in Logroño, a lovely provincial Spanish city of 110,000. The program at the Instituto Internacional in Madrid provides students a wealth of intellectual and cultural possibilities and enjoys a central location, making travel to various regions of the country convenient. Located in Andalucía, and with a population of 325,000, Córdoba is a modern Spanish city that blends several centuries of cross-cultural history.

The Middlebury program also provides students with internship opportunities through the C.V. Starr-Middlebury program.
