Reed’s three newest trustees, who joined the board earlier this year, bring experience from the fields of business, healthcare, and law.

Susan J. Sokol Blosser MAT ’67 is the co-founder of Sokol Blosser Winery, where she played a pivotal role in establishing one of Oregon’s earliest and most innovative wineries. With a commitment to environmental advocacy, Susan embraced sustainable practices, including organic vineyards and LEED-certified winery buildings. For more than 30 years, she managed all facets of the winery, championing the triple bottom line approach of people, planet, and profit. Beyond her winemaking achievements, Susan is an esteemed author and community activist. Her books encompass diverse subjects, from business strategies to personal insights. She is also involved in various organizations, including the International Women's Forum and the Yamhill Enrichment Society. Susan graduated from Stanford University with a BA in history and earned an MAT from Reed in 1967.

Laurence (Larry) Abramson ’80 is the founder of the Abramson Group, a consultancy that advises healthcare service clients such as hospitals, multi-hospital systems, and multi-state managed care organizations. Larry’s career highlights include roles as principal at consulting firm Wellspring Partners and as managing director at Huron Consulting Group after its acquisition of Wellspring in 2007. His expertise extends across supply chain solutions and financial management in healthcare. Larry’s dedication is evident through his involvement with the President’s Advisory Council at Reed and his contributions as an Alumni Fundraising for Reed volunteer. Larry graduated from Reed in 1980 with a BA in economics and earned an MBA in finance and health administration from the University of Chicago.

Tina Sohaili-Korbonits '07 lives in Santa Monica, California, and is a supervisory attorney in the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights. She majored in philosophy at Reed and has served as a legal network volunteer, Paideia presenter, Reed career services volunteer, and as an Alumni Fundraising for Reed volunteer.
