The curriculum, open to exchange students, focuses on pressing issues - democracy, development, human rights, identity, legal systems, poverty, religion, social change - from a decolonial perspective, with the goal of a more equal world. Gilman Program Application Is Now Open! : Thinking about study abroad? Receive up to $5,000 (or up to $8,000 if you’re studying a Critical Need Language) to go abroad as a college student if you’re a U.S. citizen and Federal Pell Grant recipient! If you’re interested in conducting STEM-related research while studying or interning abroad, you could receive an additional $1,000 by applying for the new STEM supplemental award. IIE American Passport Project : Annually, IIE will make grants to U.S. colleges and universities in the IIENetwork so they can help Pell-eligible students obtain a U.S. passport. More information .
