Bogazici University in Istanbul was founded in 1863 and offers study in a wide variety of disciplines in areas of science, social science, and humanities. Reed students will take regular classes taught in English with students from Turkey, the region and around the world. This elite, highly selective university will allow Reed students to take courses of their choice including those that focus on the topics of the Middle East. Bogazici University offers a wide variety of disciplines for students to choose from, though the liberal arts university focuses mainly on languages and the natural sciences.

Home to 12,000 students, Bogazici is committed to long lasting partnerships with international institutions. The program offers housing on campus as well as access to a meal plan and laundry services.
