School for Field Studies - Cambodia

Multiple Locations, Cambodia

Conservation efforts are deeply connected to Cambodian community livelihoods across Tonle Sap Lake and Angkor Wat. Participants in this program will learn about threats to ecosystems and natural resources, environmental governance, and the ethics of conservation and development in this fascinating country. While traveling extensively, students will visit elephant-inhabited forests in Mondulkiri, mountain ecosystems in Kampot, the Vietnamese Mekong Delta, and key sites along the Mekong River. During the final weeks of the semester, students will conduct an extensive research project in the field.
