Attend unique events for admitted students throughout the spring, in addition to the general visit options for all students.
Reed Receptions
Multiple Dates and Locations. We’re holding get-togethers across the country where you can mingle with future Reedies and other students interested in Reed. Receptions will feature special guests, including professors and Reed President Audrey Bilger. We invite you to sign up for one of our upcoming receptions.
Reed Admit Day
Multiple Dates. We welcome our newly admitted students and their guests to join us for one of our Reed Admit Days (RADs). During this special visit, you will meet college leaders, gain in-depth knowledge about the first-year Reedie experience, explore campus with a current student, and meet some of your peers who will make up the class of ’30.
Faculty Spotlight - Chemistry, Environmental Studies, and GLAM
March 5 at 6 p.m. Meet Reed professors Danielle Cass (Chemistry), Noelwah Netusil (Economics and Environmental Studies) and Tom Landvatter (Greek, Latin, and Ancient Mediterranean Studies). Ask them questions about their classes, research, and the Reed community.
Your Financial Aid Offer Explained
March 24 at 3:30 p.m. Join Anna Hitchcock, Executive Director of Financial Aid, for a virtual event specifically designed to break down the different components of a financial aid offer. Covering topics like loans and student work, additional financing options, billing, and financial aid during your four years at Reed.
Tough Questions with Dr. K, VP for Student Life
March 31 at 6 p.m. If you have questions about Reed—from big-picture questions to the tough questions to the questions you keep meaning to ask—join this event to get answers. Karnell McConnell-Black (Vice President for Student Life) and Milyon Trulove (Vice President and Dean of Admission & Financial Aid) will host this special Q&A for admitted students.

April 8 at 5 p.m. Find out why Reed’s academic program is regarded as one of the most intellectual in the country. Current Dean of the Faculty Kathy Oleson and former Dean of the Faculty Nigel Nicholson will answer your questions and discuss what makes our educational experience transformational.
Disability & Accessability Resources at Reed
May 12 at 3:30 p.m. Join Jess Gibson and Maddie Willon from Disability & Accessibility Resources (DAR) as they explain how students can get started with the accommodation process and access the resources they need to support their personal and academic success at Reed. DAR works with students with disabilities who seek academic, housing, and other accommodations for disability-related needs.

Announcements and updates may also be via text (971-257-1207) and from your personal admission counselor. We want to hear from you and encourage you to fill out these surveys and connect with your counselor!
