If you are interested in Political Science, or are thinking of majoring in Political Science, it's important that you subscribe to the Political Science Bulletins Google Group. Many important departmental announcements are made through this group, as well as relevant announcements of extra-departmental activities, internships, opportunities, and the like. This group is "open" meaning that anyone at Reed can subscribe. Declared POL, ES-POL, or ICPS-POL majors are automatically members of this group and the Political Science Majors Google Group.
If you are a member of the community outside Reed and are interested in political science events open to the public such as the Politics and Policy Lecture Series, you may join the Events mailing list for Public Policy, Economics, and Social Sciences.
Only departmental faculty and staff members are pre-approved to post messages to these groups. Other messages must be approved by the list administrator.
Instructions for Joining
For the Political Science Bulletins Google Group, go to the group and click the blue "Apply to join group" button. Once approved, you will be subscribed. You can also request an invitation from Darcy Tanner by emailing her at tdarcy@reed.edu.
Instructions for Leaving
If you ever want to leave, go to My Groups at Reed and then you should see an option to "Leave this group." Click it, and the group will be deleted from your "My Groups" page. You will no longer have access to this group unless you request it again.
