Susan Jensen is one of a handful of continuo players in the Northwest who is fluent in reading and improvising figured bass. She is principal harpsichordist & organist with Portland Baroque Orchestra, where she has performed hundreds of concerts and has made many tours throughout Oregon, Washington and Vancouver BC. Since 1985. Susan has performed with many large and small ensembles at festivals in the Pacific Northwest & Austria– including the Oregon Symphony, the Oregon Bach Festival, Oregon Repertory Singers, the Bloch Music Festival, the Portland Opera, the Danube Music Festival and with Allora. She teaches US Visual Arts at Oregon Episcopal School, co-directs the OES Boys Choir, is the chapel organist and resident calligrapher, and is music director/organist at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church.
