Oct 26	Friday @ Four 4:00 PM in Eliot Hall Chapel Haley Jacobson, recipient of the 2012 Rothchild Summer Stipend for Music Study, performs music for cello by Spanish composer Gaspar Cassadó and Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.
Nov 2	Friday at Four 4:00 PM in Eliot Hall Chapel Welcome Parents and Families! Rachel Apone, violin, performing Fritz Kreisler's Miniature Viennese Waltz; Joshua Gancher, cello and David Wills, organ, performing Antonio Vivaldi's Sonata in B♭ Major; Kate Morics, violin, performing Beethoven's Sonata in A minor; The Fair Reed Jazz Trio: Duncan Law, piano; Andrew Wilhite, bass; and John Young, drums.

Nov 18	Orchestra Concert 7:30 PM in Kaul Auditorium The program for the Reed Orchestra fall concert includes W.F. Bach: Sinfonia in d minor, Bela Bartók: Rumanian Dances, and W.A. Mozart: Symphony # 31 in D major ("Paris").
Dec 2 View concert program	Concert: “Old American Songs” 7:30 PM in Kaul Auditorium The Reed College music department presented its annual winter concert. The principal work on the program, performed by the Reed Chorus and Orchestra, is Aaron Copland's collection Old American Songs, in arrangements for mixed chorus and orchestra. The Collegium Musicum performed settings of American folk songs by Roy Harris and Virgil Thomson, among others. This is a program that should be especially attractive to those who might like to bring their children; it's short, all in English, and often funny.
Dec 7	Friday at Four 4:00 PM in Eliot Chapel This concert features the Reed piano trio (Rachel Apone, violin; Haley Jacobson, cello and Cole Perkinson, piano) performing Piazzolla's "Cuatro estaciones porteñas" and the Reed string quartet (Kira Jacobson, violin; Kate Morics, violin; Isobel Reed, viola; and Katelyn Best, cello) performing Mendelssohn's String Quartet in F minor. Also performing are Joshua Gancher, cello; Max Eisendrath, piano; Eric Goldman, tenor; Kelli Collins, soprano; and Gustavo Lopez, trombone.

Mar 14	Reed College Orchestra 7:30 PM in Kaul Auditorium The Reed College Orchestra will give its first concert of the semester. The program includes movements from Beethoven's Symphony #2 in D major and the two suites from L'Arlesienne by Georges Bizet.
Mar 15	Prexy Percussion Romp 3:30 PM in Prexy Living Room Students of David Schiff present a concert of original compositions for percussion instruments.
Apr 5	Friday at Four 4:00 PM in Eliot Hall Chapel This concert includes Maia Scarpetta, viola, performing Bruch: Romance in F Major and Katelyn Best, cello, performing Haydn: Concerto in C major.

May 2	Farewell to Prexy 4:00 PM in Prexy Living Room Students perform a variety of offerings celebrating 60 years of music making in Prexy Hall. August 2013 private music instruction and practice moves to the new performing arts building.
