Come to The Pacific Northwest Multi-Cultural (PNMC) Readers Series & Film Festival. Based in Portland, Oregon--we're kicking off our inaugural year!
As we observe social distance protocols, our first festival will be virtual.
Join us August 20-22, 2021 to celebrate outstanding storytellers of Color and of Indigenous Origin!
The PNMC Festival provides platforms for artists in these dynamic populations to showcase their scripts and films. Also, festival attendees can attend workshops presented by industry professionals; panel discussions and conversations with film and/or theatre professionals.
2021 Readers Series Theme is: Our Stories Matter
We are accepting submissions from playwrights and episodic writers to submit their scripts.
2021 Film Series Theme is: Telling Our Stories through the Lens
We are accepting submissions from filmmakers in the following categories: Film Shorts, Docu-Shorts, Full Length Documentary, Feature Narrative and Web episodic.
SUBMISSION’S OPEN: May 5, 2021 and closes JUNE 6, 2021.
Payment for each submission must be made when it is submitted
