Museo dell'Ara Pacis - Exterior
Front of Museum
The main entrance to the reception-ticket area of the museum is covered by a freestanding canopy; to its right a separate entrance to the bookstore. Below at the right is a doorway to the lower exhibition level displaying a notable group of reliefs closely related to the Ara Pacis and exceptionally well-conceived educational materials. Banners in front advertise exhibitions of contemporary art in the lower level.
