Tuesday, January 29 from 11:30am - 1:30pm: HA Info Table in Commons

Wednesday, January 30 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm: HA Info Table in Commons

Thursday, January 31 at 4:30pm: Resume Critique Workshop in Eliot 126

Thursday, January 31 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm: HA Info Table in Commons

Friday, February 1 from 11:30am - 1:30pm: HA Info Table in Commons

February 11 - 13: HA applicants selected for first round interviews may sign up for interview time slots

Wednesday, February 13 at 4:30pm: Interview Workshop in GCC-D

Tuesday, February 19 at 4:30pm: Interview Workshop in GCC-D

February 21 - 23: First round interviews

February 25 - March 8: Returning HA interviews

Sunday, March 10: 2nd round interviews for those asked to move on

Spring Break: HA acceptance letters sent out

 

Important Dates for Hired HAs for 2013-14

House Advisors are expected to be present for all of the following events and training sessions:

Spring Training:

  • Friday, April 5, 2013, 3 - 7 p.m.

Fall Training:

  • Halls open Wednesday, August 14, 2013 @ 9am
  • Training begins Thursday, August 15, 2013 @ 4:30pm
  • HA Camp: Friday, August 16 - 17, 2013
  • HA training: Monday, August 19 -  Monday, August 26, 2013
    • HAs are asked to speak with their respective RDs for information about scheduled free time during this period. The weekend of August 24 and 25 will be free of scheduled commitments for HAs (assuming HAs have completed all training/opening tasks, such as bulletin boards).

Winter Training:

  • Tuesday, January 21, 2014
  • HAs are expected to return to campus Friday, January 17, 2014


HA In-Services:

(HAs must attend all in-services and trainings held on select Friday afternoons)

  •      September 13, 2013
  •      October 4, 2013
  •      November 8, 2013
  •      December 13, 2013 (Res Life Winter Celebration)
  •      February 7, 2014
  •      March 7, 2014

House Advisors are also expected to be on campus the following dates:

  •  Orientation: August 27, 2013 - September 2, 2013
  •  Fall semester hall closing: Saturday, December 21, 2013 until noon
  •  Paideia: Friday, January 17, 2014
  •  Spring semester hall closing: Wednesday, May 21, 2014 until noon
