For new students: Register during Orientation week after meeting with your academic adviser. You can look through the Class Schedule and Resources for Students to prepare for that meeting, but there is no registration until August 29.
For continuing students: SOLAR (available at solar.reed.edu) will remain open for continuing students to make scheduling changes to the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters through Wednesday, 28 August.
Wait Lists: As classes fill, students may put themselves on the wait list. When a space opens up, the first student on the wait list will be offered the open spot via email, with a deadline (typically 48 hours) by which the student must enroll in the class, or lose the spot.
Changes to Reed's Distribution Requirements
Starting in Fall 2019, new students will be required to satisfy a new set of distribution requirements. Continuing students, who will be enrolled (or on a leave of absence) in fall, may change to the new requirements. There is also a change to the PE requirement.
Please visit this page for more information about these distribution requirement changes.
Additionally, from the Registration and Courses page, you may view a list of courses that apply toward the Group III Data Collection and Analysis requirement, as well as a list of minors available as of Fall 2019.
In support of the mission of Reed College, the Office of the Registrar ensures the integrity of academic policies, processes, and records. We are dedicated to providing equitable, efficient, respectful, and friendly service.
