COVID-19 Prevention & Response Plan

Communications

November 20, 2020

Dear select students, faculty, and staff,

Although in-person classroom instruction will conclude for the fall semester on November 20, students, faculty, and staff who will continue to engage in activities on campus are asked to participate in routine weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing.

Each week, you will receive an invitation to sign up for a testing time. You must be tested during weeks in which you will be on campus. If you will not be accessing campus during a given week, you will not need to complete surveillance testing that week.

Testing will take place according to the schedule outlined below for the weeks of November 23, 2020, through January 18, 2021:

  • Monday, November 23
  • Monday, November 30
  • Thursday, December 3
  • Monday, December 7
  • Thursday, December 10
  • Monday, December 14
  • Thursday, December 17
  • Monday, December 21
  • Monday, December 28
  • Wednesday, December 30
  • Monday, January 4
  • Thursday, January 7
  • Monday, January 11
  • Thursday, January 14
  • Friday, January 15
  • Wednesday, January 20
  • Thursday, January 21

Routine weekly surveillance testing for the spring 2021 semester will begin the week of January 25. More information on surveillance testing for the spring semester will be shared in a future communication.

Testing takes place from 8 a.m. to noon in Gym II of the sports center. At your selected testing time, access the testing center using the entrance on Botsford Drive. Please do not eat, drink, or smoke for 30 minutes prior to your test.

Testing times are now available for next week, the week of November 23. Note: due to the Thanksgiving holiday, only one testing day is available. Sign up now with the link below.
