COVID-19 Prevention & Response Plan

Communications

November 19, 2021

Dear select students, faculty, and staff,

You are receiving this message because you are required to participate in COVID-19 surveillance testing next week, the week of November 22, 2021.

COVID-19 surveillance testing will take place next week on Tuesday, November 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m in the Greenwood lobby.

Important: Prior to participating in surveillance testing, individuals must be able to log into their Predictive Labs account. If you have not done so already or do not remember your password, visit client.predictivelabs.com, click “Forgot Password”, and enter your Reed email address. Follow the instructions sent via email to set your password and gain access to your account.

Reed now operates a self-administered surveillance testing process. Review this document for detailed instructions on how to complete your COVID-19 surveillance test. These and further instructions are also provided at the testing center.

Individuals may drop in to the testing location to complete their required COVID-19 surveillance test during the available times; no appointment is necessary. Please refrain from eating, drinking (including water), smoking, or brushing your teeth for 30 minutes prior to completing your test.

Individuals who have not yet submitted records of full vaccination against COVID-19 are required to be tested once each week you will be on campus. Additionally, a group of approximately 330 fully vaccinated individuals is randomly selected each week to participate in surveillance testing as a further means of monitoring for the presence of COVID-19 on campus. If you receive this message and are fully vaccinated, we ask that you please participate in this surveillance testing program.

If you will not be accessing campus this week, you do not need to complete a test and can disregard this email.

Surveillance testing results are usually back within 36 to 48 hours. Participants can view and print their results by accessing the lab’s portal. If it is your first time accessing the portal, click "Forgot Password" and request a password reset using your Reed email address.
