COVID-19 Prevention & Response Plan

Communications

November 12, 2021

Dear students, faculty, and staff,

Below, we report to you two things you need to know today.

  • NEW COVID-19 CASES: This week, we were notified of two new COVID-19 cases in Reed community members. The positive individuals were contacted promptly and given instructions to isolate. Contact tracing activities quickly identified any potentially exposed individuals, who were notified by the college but not required to quarantine, per current CDC and Oregon guidelines. We continue to report all associated COVID-19 cases online, found in the "Total Cases" section of the dashboard.
  • SURVEILLANCE TESTING NEXT WEEK: Next week's surveillance testing schedule is below. Testing is a self-service process; prior to attending testing, please know how to access your Predictive Labs account at client.predictivelabs.com.
    • Tuesday, November 16, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Greenwood
    • Thursday, November 18, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Greenwood

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the COVID-19 Risk Assessment Group at coronavirusquestions@reed.edu.
