Dear students:
Out of concern for Reed’s students and faculty, and in order to enable the library staff to comply with Oregon’s stay at home order, the library building will remain closed. We are unable to continue circulation services to students for the rest of spring semester. This includes physical access to Reed materials, Summit, and physical items via interlibrary loan.
If the library has notified you that items are on hold, you may contact library-circ@reed.edu to discuss options. There will be no late fines for materials you currently have checked out, although replacement fees for lost items will still apply.
The library’s online resources are available, and library staff are working remotely. Please consult Remote Help for online resources and assistance.
I regret that the library will not be able to serve you with our physical spaces and collections this spring. However, I know I speak for all library staff when I say that we hope you will be in touch soon and that we look forward to assisting you.
Sincerely, Dena
