Out of concern for the Reed community and in order to enable the library staff to comply with Oregon’s stay at home order, the library will remain closed for the rest of spring semester. Summit and interlibrary loan for physical items have been ceased until further notice. Faculty and staff may request items from Reed’s collections through the library’s catalog. Requested items will be delivered to your Eliot mailbox.
If the library notified you previously that you have items on hold, you may retrieve them from your Eliot mailbox. There will be no late fines for materials you currently have checked out, although replacement fees for lost items will still apply.
The library’s online resources are available, and library staff are working remotely. Please consult Remote Help for online resources and assistance.
I regret that the library is unable to serve the Reed community with our physical spaces or a full range of collections and services this spring. However, I know I speak for all library staff when I say that we hope you will be in touch soon and that we look forward to assisting you. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely, Dena
