COVID-19 Prevention & Response Plan

Communications

March 25, 2022

Dear students, faculty, and staff,

Below, we report to you two things you need to know today.

Surveillance Testing

Next week, COVID-19 surveillance testing will be available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (March 28, 29, and 31) from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. in Greenwood. Individuals may also participate in testing using one of the two satellite testing sites on campus, available in the Student Union and the Biology building. Individuals who traveled over spring break should test following their return to campus.

New COVID-19 Cases

Since our last report, we have been notified of five new COVID-19 cases in Reed community members who were on campus in the previous 14 days. All of these individuals are isolating and any Reed community members identified as potentially exposed were notified and provided with guidance on testing and quarantine, as appropriate for their individual situations.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the COVID-19 Risk Assessment Group at coronavirusquestions@reed.edu.

In health,
