COVID-19 Prevention & Response Plan

Communications

August 27, 2021

Dear select students, faculty, and staff,

COVID-19 surveillance testing next week will take place on Monday, August 30, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Thursday, September 2, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m on the patio of the Gray Campus Center (GCC). Individuals may drop in to the testing location to complete their required COVID-19 surveillance test during the available times; no appointment is necessary.

Individuals who have not yet submitted records of full vaccination against COVID-19 to human resources (faculty/staff) or to health & counseling services (students) are required to be tested once during the weeks in which you will be on campus. If you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you may submit your records to be removed from the testing pool. If you will not be accessing campus this week, please disregard this email.

Surveillance testing results are usually back within 36–48 hours. Participants can view and print their results by accessing the lab’s portal.

For more details about the surveillance testing plan for this semester, please visit our COVID-19 testing web page.

If you have any additional questions, please contact the COVID-19 Risk Assessment Group at coronavirusquestions@reed.edu.

Sincerely,

Madison Riethman, MPH, CPH
