Dear first-year students, parents, faculty, and staff:

Nothing brings us greater joy than seeing you around campus today. Our goal is to make sure our community has a safe and healthy start to the academic year: we have made the last-minute decision to require face coverings, regardless of your vaccination status, at Convocation, Parent Orientation, and all events held under the large tent on the great lawn, despite their outdoor locations.

We appreciate your understanding and support in keeping our community healthy.
