Dear students,

I write to you today regarding the availability of summer housing at Reed. We have carefully reviewed our capabilities to serve students over the summer in light of complications associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and limited available services (the HCC will be closed, on-call staff will be limited, Bon Appétit service will be lunch only).

To protect the health and well-being of students and the on-campus community we have decided that for summer 2020, student housing will be available only to those students who were approved in March to remain on campus.

We regret any inconvenience the reduced on-campus housing causes, but we have determined that this is the most responsible course of action at this time.
