 VPN Service Restored

All VPN services should be functioning normally again.  If you are still experiencing problems with services please contact the CUS Help Desk at ext. 7525 or cus@reed.edu.

 Admin VPN outage

CIS has received reports that the Administrative VPN is not functioning.  Technical staff are looking into the issue.  Further updates will be posted here.

 Secondary Internet Connection installation complete - possible issues with some VPN connections

The installation of a second Internet connection this morning has completed.  Connectivity from campus to the Internet and from the Internet to campus should be normal, with the possible exception of some VPN connections.

Computing & Information Services staff are looking into an issue where some Administrative VPN connections are not functioning properly.  If you are experiencing issues with the VPN, or with another Internet related service, please contact Computer User Services at cus@reed.edu or 503-777-7525 (x7525 from on campus).

 Cascade 8 Upgrade Completed

The upgrade of Cascade to version 8 was completed on Monday, January 16th at 10pm. Please see the Cascade 8 Upgrde Guide for more information regarding changes.
