Bon Appétit at Reed College operates three cafes on campus, each one unique to the other with offsetting hours so students always have a variety of options from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. For added convenience and an alternative way to purchase your food, we have implemented a mobile online ordering application for the Marketplace and Commons Cafe.

Mobile Ordering
The Transact Mobile Ordering Application is linked to multiple Bon Appétit outlets and provides students with an alternative way to shop for food and groceries. Students can download the Transact Mobile Ordering app to their smartphone or tablet and search for “Reed College Dining”, enter the required campus credentials, and place an order at any Bon Appétit location!
You can download the app for Apple or Android and sign up from your smartphone.

Commons Café
Commons Café is our flagship location, with several different food concepts or “stations” throughout. Commons offers unique dining options that change daily, including multiple vegan and vegetarian options available during each meal period. In addition to meals prepared from scratch, Commons also has a wide variety of bottled beverages and snacks, grab and go options, homemade desserts and ice cream novelties.
Location: Gray Campus Center
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. with increased food offerings during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On weekends, Commons is open from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for brunch and reopens for dinner in the evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Marketplace
The Marketplace is your one stop shop for all things retail. The Marketplace offers fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of staple grocery items, candy, snacks, and bottled beverages.
Location: Gray Campus Center
Hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Canyon Café
Located in Aspen Hall, Canyon Café is where you’ll get your caffeine fix! Canyon Café features Caffe Umbria Coffee Roasters and offers a wide variety of espresso-based specialty drinks. Canyon Café also offers nitro infused cold brew on tap and kombucha. Canyon Café features local bagels from Henry Higgins, French pastries and desserts from Marsee Bakery, and house-made grab and go items throughout the day.
Location: Aspen Residence Hall
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
