Introduction to the Humanities

Research in Hum 110

Most paper assignments you receive in Hum 110 are designed to be used using only sources assigned on the syllabus. If you are interested in doing further research, please consult your Hum 110 instructor first.  Reed’s academic conduct policy states that “the fundamental ethical principle governing scholarship is that one should never claim or represent as one’s own work that which is not one’s own.” In the context of doing research and writing in the Humanities, appropriate academic conduct includes but is not limited to citing sources. You can find a guide to citing references here.
