In book 2 of the Iliad, lines 211277, Thersites abuses Agamemnon and is abused, in turn, by Odysseus. Focusing on Thersites, write an essay that analyzes the poets relationship to his characters and their values. Is Homer sympathetic to Thersites? To Thersites views? You may consider other parts of the Iliad, in relation to this passage, to support your argument.
