Jahan Ramazani
Jahan Ramazani is the author of Poetry in a Global Age (2020), The Cambridge Companion to Postcolonial Poetry (2017), Poetry and Its Others: News, Prayer, Song, and the Dialogue of Genres (2013), and A Transnational Poetics (2009), winner of the American Comparative Literature Association’s Harry Levin Prize. An elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Philosophical Society, he coedits The Norton Anthology of English Literature. Ramazani gave a public lecture, “Mourning Climate Change: Elegies for the Planet,” and led seminars with students and faculty.
