More than $37 million in Reed-funded grants and scholarships were awarded to Reed students in 2022-2023.
For students who demonstrated financial need, the average financial aid award was $50,900.
Fifty-two percent of students received need-based grants, which do not need to be repaid. Average Reed grant: $44,150.
To provide maximum need-based aid for all students, Reed does not offer merit-based scholarships.
