How to apply for financial aid

The financial aid office staff members are here to help you complete the process of applying for financial aid with as little confusion and stress as possible. Please contact us if you have any questions or problems along the way.

STEP ONE: Indicate on your Application for Admission that you intend to apply for financial aid. Students who indicate they do not intend to apply for financial aid are ineligible for financial assistance from Reed if in the future they wish to change this response. As well, international students admitted without financial aid are not eligible for financial aid throughout their enrollment at Reed.

STEP TWO: Complete the College Board PROFILE application for the 2020–21 school year. The PROFILE is used to determine your eligibility for Reed's institutional funding. When you complete the PROFILE, list Reed College's code 4654. The 2020–21 PROFILE is available beginning October 1, 2019.

STEP THREE: Submit a complete International Student Certification of Finances form through the Reed College Financial Aid Office secure document submission portal.
