How to apply for financial aid
The financial aid office staff members are here to help you complete the process of applying for financial aid with as little confusion and stress as possible. Please contact us if you have any questions or problems along the way.
STEP ONE: Indicate on your Application for Admission that you intend to apply for financial aid. Students who indicate they do not intend to apply for financial aid are ineligible for financial assistance from Reed if in the future they wish to change this response. As well, international students admitted without financial aid are not eligible for financial aid throughout their enrollment at Reed.
STEP TWO: Complete the CSS Profile application for the 2022-23 school year through the College Board. The CSS Profile is used to determine your eligibility for Reed's institutional funding. When you complete the application, list Reed College's code 4654. The 2022-23 CSS Profile is available beginning October 1, 2021.
International aid applicants are not required to submit a CSS Profile for the Noncustodial Parent or submit international tax documents to IDOC.
