Hello! My name is Elizabeth Vaughan (She/Her), and I am a postdoctoral researcher studying the implementation and impact of alternative grading practices in STEM education. I completed my graduate work at Portland State University, where I investigated students’ expectations, buy-in, and engagement in general and organic chemistry laboratory courses. Outside of the lab, I enjoy thrifting, playing board games, contra dancing, and spending time with my three black cats. |
My name is Rukayah (they/them), and I am a Chemistry-Art History major. I am so excited to participate in the James lab and Moore Fellowship program. In my free time I enjoy reading, exploring Oregon, and spending time with my loved ones. | |
