Online Writing Support
We have developed an evolving set of online writing resources to provide advice about writing in Hum 110 and beyond. These have been developed in collaboration with Reed faculty, students and staff. Most samples of writing were authored by Reed students.
In-person Support at the Writing Center
The Writing Center is a tutoring service open to all Reed College students. Peer tutors are prepared to assist students with any stage of the writing process, and for assignments in any discipline. Services are free of charge and students can drop in anytime during the hours listed below. Students of all levels of academic ability rely on the Writing Center as a resource for improving technical skills, analytical strategies, and integrating both into a clear and intelligent presentation of original ideas.
