Senior Survey Results

Based on a national survey of graduating seniors at 18 private, liberal arts colleges and universities, and over 7,300 responses, 2010 Reed College graduates were:

  • 33% more likely to be planning to pursue a medical degree
  • Almost twice as likely to say they will pursue a doctoral degree

In comparison to graduating seniors at the other schools, Reed seniors were more satisfied with:

  • their access to faculty outside of class
  • campus safety
  • the financial aid office
  • computer services, facilities, and support
  • library services, facilities, and support
  • classroom/laboratory facilities


PLANS AFTER GRADUATION

  • 69% will work
  • 10% will attend graduate school immediately (65% eventually)
  • 6% will travel
  • 15% other activity/undecided
