Computers for Student Organizations
The college does not normally purchase computers, software or peripherals for student organizations (except for the Judicial Board). Student organizations may purchase computers at cost through the Reed Computer Store. Computers purchased through the Computer Store can be repaired and serviced in the Computer Hardware Shop.
CIS may also lend used computer equipment to student organizations, if it is determined that the equipment is no longer of use to the college. Reallocated computers remain the property of the college and are the responsibility of the signator. They must remain on campus and must be returned to CIS, regardless of condition, when no longer needed or when requested by CIS. Borrowed equipment may be repaired or serviced by the Computer Hardware Shop, at their discretion.
