Multicultural Resource Center

Office for Institutional Diversity

Welcome to Reed’s Multicultural Resource Center!

The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) coordinates campus-wide cultural events and programs that celebrate the diversity of our community and educates the campus community on issues of identity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice. Throughout the year, we coordinate and sponsor a wide variety of events such as guest authors and speakers, films, lectures, artistic performances, and workshops.

MRC programs and events complement and enrich the academic experience, promote identity exploration, and enhance the leadership skills of historically underrepresented and marginalized students. The MRC provides direct support to students and multicultural student organizations and creates an environment where students from historically underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds can thrive at Reed.

The Multicultural Resource Center is housed in the Student Center and is a space where students can build community and learn about campus resources. Stop by for a visit so you can meet our friendly staff and learn more about our services, programs, and events. Our Center is an ideal place to learn, study, relax between classes, or visit with friends. All are welcome!
