Dear Community Dancers,
It is my great, great pleasure to share that Community Dance at Reed is returning! The program has been on hiatus since December 2021, when we premiered our last collectively created work, Ties That Bind Us.The past three years have been a time of transition, and as we enter into what will surely be a time of more change, I hope that you can join us in mobilizing community through movement.
I am pleased to share that our first session will meet on Thursday, February 13 from 6:10-7:30 pm in the Performing Arts Building, Room 240. Weekly sessions will continue until the Spring Dance Concert, which is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 pm on Greenwood Performance Stage. I am so grateful for this opportunity to put Community Dance at Reed’s mission to work once again, and I hope that you will join us!
